So the second award ceremony of the year, the 72nd Golden Globes is over and the best and worst outfits have donned the red carpet. You’ll be pleased to know I won’t be discussing all of them but simply talking about my favourite in this post and where you can get something similar.
The main trends for the Golden Globes this year were the primary colours of red, white and blue as well as some seriously bright canary yellows dresses. Blue being my favourite colour, instinctively caught my eye, and when a young actress by the name of Julia Goldani Telles made an entrance I knew this was the one, not only for the chic simplicity of the dress but also for the gorgeous colour.
I could of gone for the figure hugging, sparkly numbers but this gorgeous Carmen Marc Valvo gown featuring a crew neck plunge neckline in taffeta satin oozes sophistication without daring to bare, all of which I love. What do you think?
Well if you are loving this outfit for your special occasion take a look at a couple of options below from the Dessy Group, which specialises in bridesmaids and special occasion wear.
Both these dresses are from The Alfred Sung Collection with the first dress featured D613 and the second D655. Both come in a variety of colours including the electric blue. Just check the bottom of each dress information to find your local stockist.
