Pantone Colour of the Year 2015: Marsala

Welcome to 2015 folks! I hope you had a great holiday and you are well rested? To welcome you back, I thought I would warm you up with info on the new Pantone colour for 2015, Marsala. Named for the decadent wine, this new colour is a rich reddish brown hue, that you will be seeing all over the place very soon. Celebrities like Blake Lively above already stepped out in the colour last year at the Cannes Film Festival. But this year you will see it not only on clothes but lips,  nails and furniture too.

If you are wondering who are Pantone? Well they are colour experts from the Pantone Color Institute who forecast which specific hue designers and consumers will be using, wearing, and buying for the following 12 months. Last year was Radiant Orchid and the year before that was Emerald Green, so Marsala Red is another colour to look forward to, if like me you like to add a little colour to your life. Well with today being Bridal Tuesdays as in I will be focusing on Bridal fashion on Tuesday and Red Carpet fashion on Thursdays, for those brides to be or guests at an up and coming wedding  who may be wondering how to incorporate this colour take a look below at a few fashion ideas.
