People's Choice Awards 2015

So its officially award season again, and the first awards show of the year, the 2015 People’s Choice Awards has taken place, enabling us to see trends on the red carpet that may inspire what you wear for your special event coming up. The People’s Choice Awards recognizes the people and the work of popular culture, and is the only major awards ceremony where the general public vote to choose the winners and the categories.

The popular trend on the red carpet at this show was the jumpsuit in its chic yet casual style. Portia de Rossi above stood out for me in her electric blue Zuhair Murad jumpsuit with plunging neckline and geometric bodice.

While Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo left also looked stunning in a soft blush Elie Saab jumpsuit with sheer details and Monica Potter The Parenthood star (right) kept it simple, with a classic black version with a gold chain collar.

Given that this is the first awards ceremony, the stars seemed to be more casual but there were a couple that stood out for making a more grand effort. On the left Stana Katic, The Castle star looked gorgeous in a winter floral ballgown by Carolina Herrera with white daisy embroidery. While Sarah Hyland, from the Modern Family (right) razzle and dazzled in a strapless silver Christian Siriano gown with a sheer jeweled skirt.

Finally E!News host Guiliana Rancic is starting to get noticed for her red carpet outfits too and I have to say I like this delicate Tony Ward mint dress with tulle skirt.

So tell me lovely readers, which styles do you love?
