Well we are now in March, so its officially Spring, so I thought I’d introduce you to some gorgeous little lambs I saw in the Bonpoint Fashion Show in Paris. If you are looking for childrenswear for a special occasion, Bonpoint is the ultimate fashion house for kids and given that they hold their own couture fashion show twice a year, they are experts on how to make little ones look gorgeously cute.
Priding itself on preserving the innocence and playfulness of clothing for children and young girls, the Artistic Director Christine Innamorato makes its clear, “It’s important to say that children have to be respected as children. They are not mini adults.”
Therefore in essence, it will never dress a child as a Lolita or precocious James Bond. It will never offer a colour as vile as magenta or for that matter, any of the bilious and wrong shades that blight so much other childrenswear. It will not compromise, even when it could probably get away with doing so.
The Paris fashion Show which showcased Bonpoint’s winter 2015 collection features a rhapsody of folk, seventies rock, couture and urban vintage. Details in the collection are synonymous with new silhouettes, glorious prints and new fabrics.
Bonpoint’s sizes range from newborn to young adult and they have more than 100 stores in 27 countries so you would always be able to find what you are after in the same season anywhere. Its perennial bestsellers are their classic coats, pretty dresses for girls and knitwear for babies. So if you like what you see and are after their current summer season, just head here.
