Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2016 Part 1

Hello lovely readers, its been Bridal fashion week over in New York and so its a great opportunity to highlight to you what are the major trends coming up for next year, especially as you may be on the hunt for something special.

I have decided to do this in two parts to give you the opportunity to digest everything and as usual I am like a kid in a candy store saying ‘I want that, I want that’ even though my wedding day and experience came and is well in the past. Ho hum, but I can appreciate beauty so first up is the nude tones that you can see featured above and below.

No more blush ladies, nude is the new colour for 2016. So if you like neutrals you will be heading for this section on the rail and with the help of embellishments from fringe skirts to minis, there is nothing boring about these novel nude gowns.

Next note worthy trend is the fact that those crop tops are not going away, so all you brides out there with a great midriff that want to show it off you still can. Whats nice about this trend is the fact that designers are becoming different with it. So as you can see below Reem Acra has gone for a more plunging style this time round whilst Mira Zwillinger went for a sheer t-shirt and Theia added a multitude of appliques to her design.

And finally for this post at least, I notice that sheer illusion sleeves are everywhere. The look is light and eye catching and adds a touch of interest to the neckline. Pretty!
