Hello lovely readers, with the days getting lighter and summer on the way I think we can start to pull out our spring/summer clothes and begin to embrace some of the trends from this years Spring ready to wear collections. I’m particularly thinking about the Seventies revival trend. I know some of you may groan, but I’m confident you’ll find something that will be right up your street that will suit a summer holiday that you have booked or even a music festival you may be attending. Marchesa featured above and below gives you both formal and casual chic ways to embrace your hippy side this season and with great ideas from the high street on how to create the look I’m sure you’ll be a fan in no time if your not already.
Asos have some great outfits for you on this trend, so if you like short dresses how about one of these two below. On the left is Asos own off the shoulder dress for £36 pounds and on the right is a Little White Lies peacock print dress priced at £70.
If you are after something longer, on the left is First and I seventies maxi dress, priced at £28 pounds and on the right Meghan Kuta Maxi dress reduced from £260 to £110 pounds.
For those of you who are after something more whimsical and bohemian how about this Soma London Vintage Lace Maxi dress with metallic embroidery. Full details can be found here.
Finally if you like the Marchesa dress at the top of this post then why not go for this similar style by First and I, priced at just £28 this is another steal. Full Details can be found here.
So tell me are you still groaning at these seventies looks or could you wear them on holiday or at a festival?
