Wedding Celebration: Celebrity Wedding Designer Preston Bailey marries Theo Bleckmann

A few months ago I had the pleasure of meeting event designer extraordinaire Preston Bailey, a man whose work I have admired since I started my own business a few years ago. Well known for his elaborate designs I was very excited to hear that he was tying the knot and eager to find out what he and his partner would come up with for their own special event.

On the top floor of the Empire State Building at the stroke of midnight Preston did not disappoint making a jaw stopping entrance under a 12 ft tall sculpture of a bridal gown that had been custom created by designer and guest Reem Acra.

King Kong statue

With King Kong as the main theme guests were greeted by a king kong statue and scenes of King Kong climbing skycrapers on video projection screens as well as thousand upon thousands of white flowers.
